Hello, I am Andrea. I am the costume manager at Theater des Westens in Berlin. At Taste of Malawi I coordinate the design team.

My love for Malawi and the people of Malawi was awakened by numerous visits to my sister in Lilongwe.

The warmth of the people in Malawi, the openness and the contagious laughter of the people touched me and created a real bond with the people.
The beauty of the country, but also the poverty and partly the hopelessness on the job market have moved me very much and awakened my need to support and strengthen the independence of the women in Malawi.
Taste of Malawi supports the women in their autonomy and independence and enables them to get an education to build up an existence. I want to support this with all my strength.
